No data even after APN configuration (android)?
I activated my sim card yesterday and I still dont have any data. I manually configured the APN and restarted my galaxy S7 multiple times and still nothing. My number was transferred, I can make and receive calls, have access to my voicemail. Does it usually take a few days for the data or something. Any ideas?

Data should work immediately.
Go to your account -> My plans -> Manage plan -> Advanced Parameters -> Fizz network parameters -> Resend me the notifications and Follow the instructions and see if it works if not try resetting your network settings from your phone .
In your phone go to your settings, under advancted settings there is an option called network settings reset click reset and see if that works.

Might be obvious but maybe try turning Wifi off and then turn Mobile Data off/on.20

It should not take a few days for your data to start working. Once your phone is activated it should just work.
I see that you have a 4G LTE icon on top which would indicate that you do have network connectivity.
See if you have a data connection by going to your phone app and dialing: "*#*#4636#*#*" (without the quotes). That will bring up the diagnostic info. On my phone, I hit "Phone Information". Check if your Data Service is connected and see if there is a ping test in this menu. See the attached image.
As other suggested, maybe resetting the network settings. Check the APN for extra spaces? Especially in the APN name and the APN Type.17 -
It should just work. Something's not right, you should reach out to technical support.16

I am also having the same problem, with a Galaxy S7. My data works, but only very intermittently. I will get a brief burst of data and then nothing. I also find that data will work for one app, and not for another. I.e. I can refresh my twitter feed but facebook won't load. Have no idea how to get technical support for this; it's very frustrating. The service is unusable like this.16

John, did you try what M.H suggested in the first post? I had problems when configuring manually on an Android device. But using Fizz's parameters worked.13

Hi T.D. yes I've tried both using the pushed configuration as well as entering it manually myself, confirming there were no typos, rebooting my phone, etc.
I've also reached out to the FIZZ support team on Facebook messenger and have not received a reply in almost 24 hours.
This is utterly ridiculous.14 -

I have the same issue. Was working just fine and since the latest outage no more data tried in 3 different phones and non will get data. If I manually configure it works on H+ only. Tried contacting fizz support through Facebook Messenger but wow wait time for response it approx. 72h ridiculous I understand it's beta buy at least have chat support that works. Little bit disappointed but will survive will keep requesting support.8

UPDATE: Apparently there was nothing wrong with my phone or my APN configuration...it was just the network that had issues, as per Fizz: "Hi Tony, Fizz experienced congestion on the network yesterday so that might have been the reason why you were having issues.The service was restored this morning so please let us know if you're still having issues."8

I have similar issue:
I need assistance with Fizz network settings (APN). I followed provided steps, installed the 2 config files, even tried manual settings, restarted the device still no go. reset networking setting, redone the previous steps, same issue. I do have my 3G icon on the phone, shows connected, data connection on but cannot browse(I have android 5.1 with 3g w-cdma(850, 1900 and 2100)). I do not have that chat bubble in solution hub to get live assistance.
initially under preferred networks settings i had 2/3g, after I deleted the entries when resetting network settings, it did not populated, I tried to add entry by I am prompted for fizz network id, I do not have this info
Any suggestions?
