On my new Fizz Sim Card, I can receive Calls on my transferred phone number. . but?
On my new Fizz Sim Card, I can receive Calls on my transferred phone number.
However, I can't reach people with my number, and can't send texts.
In my Fizz Account > Notifications, it says, "Transfer Failed, my previous account was closed", even though I didn't close it - it automatically closed when the number ported.
No Chat bubble.
Is it possible to get help with this?

Update.
After testing, It looks like:
* I can make and take calls.
* I can send texts, but not receive them.
* My phone lists, "Unknown number", in the Android about settings.
* Tried on 3 different unlocked phones - Sony XZ2, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Blackberry passport
This is all on my transferred phone number + Newly activated Fizz SIM.
My account says the transfer failed, and I need to pick a new number.
Any feedback Fizz?16 -
I'm having the same issue.
Transfer of my number completed about 7 hours ago. Since then, I can make and receive phone calls, and send texts, but not receive them.
I've triple checked my APN and SMSC settings, and power cycled the phone. No luck yet.
I also tried to register on the partner network, Fizz EXT, hoping that registering back would kickstart something, but registration to the EXT network fails. Between this and my Invite a Friend link not being present yet, I have the feeling my account isn't fully configured.15 -
I have the same problem, I received note says that technical issues with porting and working on the issue but 4 days now still not ported. So basically i am paying for both carries , please resolve, 613-899-522414

Login your account.
Click on “Help”.
In “Popular topics” click on any subject.
Scroll down to the bottom.
In the right corner the chat bubble will appear after 15 seconds.
Click on the bubble and type your question.
You will see what position you are in the queue.
Sometimes, it can be very long before you can chat with someone: one hour, 90 minutes…
