Need to reboot modem once per month?

Hi guys,
I'm having a weird issue with my modem recently. I get home from work and try to play some streaming music, only to find out that my internet connection doesn't work. Since I am using my own router (R7000), I put the modem in bridge mode. That issue seems to happen after a month. Anyone else is having that issue? Is there an option in the modem's firmware where you can schedule a modem reboot periodically?
thanks in advance.

For me, I find cable internet works best when the modem is reboot every 2 weeks or so. Otherwise the connection tends to lag over time.
Fizz modem doesn't appear to have a reboot option.
If you want to hook up your modem to a timer or smart plug, you can program it to reboot once a week at night (when noone is using it).5 -
Thanks Fizzy. I figured that I might need to go with the smart plug option, but since my Netgear wireless router had a software programmable periodic reboot I figured I might ask the more knowledgeable guys here.4
