Yes each sim card has its own plan and it can be different

Of course, you can order as many sim cards as you want, and each one can have its own individual version of whatever plans Fizz offers when you decided to activate it.

Sure, each SIM is independent, however based on how the referral works is probably more convenient to have them under different accounts.

What is the advantage of multiple plans?

I would imagine one advantage would be managing your family members' plans with only one log in. Eg. If I decided to switch my teens from PC mobile pay as you go to Fizz, I'd put them under my account so I could more easily pay the bills, buy add ons, etc. for them.
