Setting APN on iPhone, How to!
There is no APN parameters you can set manually on iPhones.
To have an iPhone updating the carrier network, you need a internet connection.
Therefore, the first time you try to get the carrier update from Fizz, you might need to connect to internet trough a WiFi connection. so it can download the parameters package
this https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-are-fizz-network-settings-apn procedure gives you steps to force the Fizz carrier update once you are connected to the internet trough WiFi.
Adding to this, going into the Settings / General / Information / on your iPhone, you should see on the Carrier line, Fizz 34.1; if not, some user reported that it does trgger the carrier update routine.
Then you just need to restart your iPhone and enjoy Fizz!

Can use the iphone configuration utility tool to set apn manually. Not perfect, but working.16

If you are using a "unsupported" iPhone (iPhone 5 and older) here is an unofficial fix to get it working
I have personally tried this on an iPhone 4S, 5C and 5. All these devices worked flawlessly with this little fix!

This custon APN profile should work with 3G, since LTE is down.

This one worked for me, it might work for you too.
An iPhone can automatically detect network settings.
WARNING! This will reset all wi-fi passwords and other network settings:
1.From the home screen, tap Settings
2.Tap General
3.Tap Reset
4.Tap Reset Network Settings
5.A box will pop up to explain the network settings will go back to factory settings. Tap Reset Network Settings0
