Other people are having problems too. MMS and SMS for me. I can receive but not send.
-
I have the same problem. ive tried airplane mode, rebooting several times. Nothing. Just SMS and MMS seems affected. Voice and data are fine. Error 38 keeps popping up. Getting a bit frustrated. Using native texting app, connected to Fizz network....using BlackBerry KeyOne.

Chat with Fizz. Good luck!

Keep trying to resolve with Fizz. You may eventually get a CSR that can actually fix it for you!
-
I'm in the same boat as Ed. I've been invited but ineligible where I am in Ottawa.
-
Don't think it's a good idea to mess with your plan. Introductory pricing will soon be over. Don't want to be paying more than what you are now!
-
It's Fizz. They are still working things out.
-
Wish I could get it.
-
Consider that message background noise. It's all good! Call away!
-
Online/digital only services are what Fizz is all about. Sorry.
-
When I transferred my phone over to Fizz from Telus I had the same message. After a couple hours I got another message saying it was all done and have a great day! Hang tight and hopefully you'll have some good news soon!
-
Yup. It's a known glitch that some 2FA texts will not come through. Hopefully it will get resolved at some point. Fizz knows about it. Sorry.
-
It'll become active on the next billing cycle.
-
Probably for both incoming and outgoing. That's the way most telecoms work for international. Maybe somebody with Fizz international experience will chime in here!
-
Wow. Sounds like you've tried everything. I'd say keep trying what you are doing and good luck! https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us

Afraid I don't know exactly what each badge is for. Sure would be nice if someone knew and posted that info here!
-
Keep on being active in the community and building up points and share your knowledge. Some badges are for different things like have a contact on your contact list and other things.

I waited about 3 months until I got the invite to join the home internet program. Unfortunately where I live in a rural area there is no cable TV so I am not eligible to join. Which sucks big time cuz I pay way too much currently for my Internet for a crappy service. Wish Fizz could help me out. Hope you don't have to wait…

It is slow to rack up the points but keep at it, you'll get some bonuses once in a while. Some people seem to explode with points. I don't know how they do it either.dans What is the best way to earn points for the rewards program? Commentaire de Kevin M. #985 mars 2019

I've been told by Fizz that the Home Internet will be available to the general public as soon as the Beta period is over. How cryptic is that!!!!
-
You can chat with Fizz by opening a help page or the contact us page here. https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us You can send email or open a chat bubble and speak with a customer service agent.

If you want to look up if any device is compatible here's the link to that page. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices
-
I get broken links sometimes too. I either wait a bit and try again and it works or search it out. It can be a pain.
-
Good idea to make sure your phone is compatible with the Fizz network. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices
-
Did you sign up for the Quebec only plan or Canada coverage or Canada and US? If Quebec only than using phone near Toronto will cause extra charges. But you can pay for an Add on so it won't be too bad.
-
I.......think.......its 250 MB per month. I haven't activated it so I can't say for sure.
-
Je suggeste vous parlez a Fizz.
-
I'm not sure about the whole canceling your Rogers part, but when you login to your Fizz account and go to the Internet area, have you yet tried entering your address into the appropriate field? It will let you know there if your address is good to go. I'm in Ottawa too, but my address is a no go since there is no cable…
-
Good job figuring it out Alain!

Good luck man. I have a KeyOne and it took a bit of monkeying around to get it working. Basically did all the standard things and it eventually worked. Walked through with a CSR may be the best bet.
