how to contact Fizz support?
Does anybody know how to contact a REAL Fizz support that could talk/chat/email to you? The so-said online chat button never shown up in my browser. I even try to message them through facebook, never get a reply!
I order a sim card yesterday night. After payment, I suddenly realized that my phone may not be compatible to Fizz network. But I could not contact anyone to cancel my order!
In the mean time, could anyone tell me if my phone only support 1900MHz for 3G, could I use it for Fizz data?
Thanks!

.
You can read the info about compatible devices yourself. You'll probably find it more helpful than fizz online customer service. Another possibility is to check videotron's website for compatible devices since they use the same network.8

You have a better chance of contacting aliens before contacting fizz support.13

They may have too much messages coming their way today with the 3G things and outages. What is the make and model of your phone?10

2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz; CDMA 1X BC0
3G: WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz, TD-SCDMA 1900/2000MHz, CDMA BC0 4G: FDD LTE B3:1800/B1:2100/B7:2600/B5:850/B8:900MHz; TD LTE B34:2100/ B38:2600/B39:1900/B40:2300/B41:2500MHz9 -
Looking at that list, it does not look like your phone and the fizz network will get along very well. B4 is pretty much essential.8

With what i found i don't think your phone is compatible with the lte network of both videotron and fizz but i may be wrong. Videotron and Fizz use B4 and B13/B17. there is many sub models of your phone and some with more bands than the others.
There is a post i found : https://www.reddit.com/r/FizzMobile/comments/a2ixsy/whats_bands_does_fizz_use/
And a website who show compatibilities:
https://www.frequencycheck.com/models?utf8=✓&q[full_name_cont]=xiaomi+redmi+note+5&q[device_brand_id_eq]=&q[frequency_bands_id_eq]=&commit=Search9 -
If you already order your SIM, it's too late. I order one myself before knowing that I can port my number to my old one. I was lucky and got the chat, but they told me that is too late and I can give it to other people to get referal bonus.
As for your phone it will not work because it need 1700/2100 3G and B4 for 4G. B12 and 17 are also useful but not required.10 -
Yes I fully understand my phone could not use Fizz's LTE. However, my last hope is 3G ^_^
It is very vague on FIzz's FAQ, saying that "The phone must support the 1700/2100 MHz frequency (also called AWS)", so even the 3G should support both 1700/2100 to make data work? My phone has 2100MHz for 3G...9 -
Sorry but your phone look like it support the 3G european band 1 (2100), You need the 3G AWS band 4 (1700 up / 2100 down). It's not the same at all. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UMTS_frequency_bands10

To Stéphane L.
Thank you so much! Finally I got a clear answer. Even the support from Vidéotron gave me very vague answer such as "I may think the signal would be very weak so I did not recommend to use that phone..."9 -
