Unless I'm doing something wrong, I can't seem to gift the 1GB perks I received. ..at least not with referral codes...I can't seem to add the recipient to my contacts list. Maybe someone can assist..?
-
Thanks for the info Fizzy.

Assuming this is a Fizz supplied phone, you would need to contact Fizz to have it activated. The real question is why was it deactivated. If it's a BYOD, then you're probably out of luck with Fizz.

Happy Valantine's Day. Snuggle up with a loved one and be safe.

Good on you.

Sorry to hear about your experience. No one can really tell you which provider is best as everyone's needs are different and every provider has its positives and negatives. Fizz is a low cost, minimal service model. If that does not suit your needs you may wish to try out a full service provider.

Looks like Fizz is giving bonus data. Not sure if it's for everyone. Check your accounts.
-
Thanks for the notification. Nice surprise. Thanks, Fizz.

Decent priced phones

To answer your question, a Fizz cell phone number is available to anyone in the province of Quebec and the greater Ottawa area.

Seems to be slowly returning to normal. I lost all the previous texts though...

I'm having similar issues today. Guess we'll just have to wait until they fix it.

I see nothing as well. They may be revising it...

Nothing is forever. They can change whatever they want. It's in the agreement you accepted when you joined. It's unlikely they will start charging extra for the modem in the near future, that would make them noncompetitive. If they do decide at some point to change that, as noted, they do have to give you 30 days notice.

Once an add-on is purchased, it cannot be cancelled. It is effective immediately and will expire at the end of your next payment. It will not auto renew on its own so you do not need to worry about it. If you purchased an add-on by mistake, you may try to get support to possibly cancel it for you...but there's no guarantee.

Paygo tends to be more expensive, but it's there if you only need to use a couple of minutes or use a bit of data and have no use for a larger set amount. The cheapest way to go if you know in advance you are going to the US is to add US coverage to your plan. It's only a couple of bucks and you have full usage of your…

Yes, the referrals are active again. There are no limits on your number of referrals. The referral credits you get are kept and will be used to pay off your future bills until the credits run out.

Fizz will take care of the cable installation to your apartment.

Try the SIM on a known unlocked compatible phone.

If I have mobile service, can I refer myself for internet service?

You need to work with Fido to get the phone unlocked. It is not a Fizz issue. Keep hounding Fido until they unlock it for you. It's their responsibility.
