I think you get the most points when you spend money. For example, I have some referral credits I am using to pay for my monthly plan, and I am not getting any points for that. But when I buy an add-on for travel, I get a good amount of points.

You should go to https://zone.fizz.ca/dce/customer-ui-prod/#/account/plan and if you have an active add-on it will show how much is left on it.
