Been there and done that. It's not a modem reboot issue. This is a network issue.

GBy is correct. Disabling residential gateway puts your modem in bridge mode and only 1 ethernet port can be used which then connects to your home router. Your home router is then repsonsible for providing more ethernet ports.

No it doesn't. I do have freephonline,com and use a cisco ata modem just fine since I own the SIP key. Voip is working great.

It means no limit as to how much data you download as well as no limit on the amount of time spent on the internet (i.e. time spent connected to internet). So you will never ever be charged overage fees.
