To answer your question, the date of the ticket is 2022-06-17, the post you've suggested is from July 5. So no there was no FAQ no info about anything and https://fizz.ca/en/faq/why-volte-important has been updated since. No, getting a sim card was not mentioned anywhere at the time of the incident. Yeah I've tried rebooting the phone and not only that I've also tried factory resetting the phone (ps not a phone noob) pretty sure it's on fizz's end. Thank you all for the replies realy appreciated. :)

Yeah, I've been having the 3 beep call drop issues like in the beta a year ago.

Service is back since 10pm on the 25th. Try restarting your phone. P.S. I just got an email everyone will be receiving 2gb of data as compensation.

I got the email too. To be honest I find it useless with the plan I have and losing service for a whole day is worth some kind of money compensation and not some 2 gb of data that I'm never going to use

Knowing that fizz is a sub division of videotron and that videotron offers VoLTE I can only assume that it's a matter of time before that option arrives.

I believe you can access your vm if you use another phone to call your number hit * or # and enter your code.

They advertised LTE network. So I think it's going to be fixed soon. At least we didn't have any issues today since it's Friday. Ps 4g and lte are the same until they actually decide to deliver 800mbps in Canada.

Once you've entered your APN restart your phone and test again.

I'd you add 1 before dialing the number you won't hear the message. If it let's you call it's because it's covered with your plan. Think of it as a default message

You can go on my plan and then manage plan you should be able to see it. You can also go into your emails and fin the contrat.
