MMS requires a cellular data plan. WiFi won't work. At least this is the way it's been in my experience.

Hi Ken, But there's a Pay-Go section as well : Data $0.10 / MB Texts $0,05 / text Calls $0.25 / minute I admit I pulled the trigger too quickly on buying into Pay-Go.
