also the 250 mb reward can still be used even without data plan but because you did not purchase a data plan you cannot be gifted to

Mike is right this is one of the questions i had for customer service yesterday if you are a very light data user like my daughter you could get away with getting the 1gb every three months however you will have to cancel and reactivate the data on time

spoke to customer service once more asked them again they have confirmed that source and destination name do NOT need to match as long as you have all the details either A- phone number and account number B- phone number and IMEI

The plan I am getting is Canada wide which includes roaming if needed. But I understand that Quebec includes Ottawa. Just want to make sure if it goes ext roaming while in area that it will still work as expected. Anyone from Ottawa area that can comment on their experience?

Are any of you in the Ottawa area. Ottawa is in Ontario but the entire greater Ottawa area is services by fizz and Vidéotron. Just wondering how well it works there for fizz client.

I just spoke to customer service in chat As long as you have all the required details Phone Number And Account# or IMEI Based on other threads I read It looks like people seem to have more success with Account#

maybe its the provider you are connected to i know T-MO uses 1700/2100 frequency (band 4) just like fizz does for data if your roaming is on it should work has your issue been resolved if so what was the cause

it seems to require alot of involvement i also see alot of people only giving one liners as resposes so they can then respond again i dont think this is right people should give detailed responses instead of trying to "play" the system

i can see the value in this without affecting the rewards/gifting it would not need to even be fast just 128kb or 64kb enough for email and chat just in case you run out and dont manage to get data gift

i'm still not clear on when that is it sounds like your saying after the port which could take a few hours this will make it a long day if i have 4 accounts to do this would require staring early in the morning is the account active after initiating everything or only after the successful completion of the port

@fling i understand, but im looking for a verification method is there not a way to verify the actual number via a verification prompt like other providers people on the forrum have said that some of their numbers would not port for reason x or y even though they were in the correct area
