I think it was your poll @Emre Y. that caused them to extend the introductory pricing. 99% of the people were for extending it. The people have spoken! And you enabled those people. Good for you. And good for us.

Yess. Sylvain. See, that would have been a good PR move. But instead they extended the beta-pricing for the beta-users which is fine but gave nothing to everyone else who went through the two outages and still put up with no-lte and texting issues.

For me in Ottawa it was in the mailbox in front of my house, not the boxes that Canada Post delivers to.

I wouldn't recommend fizz at this point in time. After two network outages in two weeks. I would have waited had I know these were the kind of issues I would be having.

After the second network outage in two weeks, I would say the best time to activate a Fizz plan is sometime in 2020 or whenever they get their act together.

Don't try and use it outside of Ottawa and Quebec. Otherwise after 3 months you could get your service cancelled.

No penalties. And fizz will only charge for the part of the month that you used.

You can set your email provider to automatically set the emails to a different folder. Obviously not ideal but it might help you keep your sanity in the short term.

I almost convinced my partner to convert to Fizz. And I'm glad she wasn't convinced. One person should definitely stay on a stable network. I.e. not fizz.
