If your USA trip is in your next billing cycle, you can simply change to USA plan and it will be valid next month. You can switch back to Canada plan after. It's $8 more than Quebec coverage (or $6 than Canada package). If you just go there for a few days, buy add-on or pay as you go (put money in wallet).

It's a bug. I had same problem before . Well mine added together is only $5.25 though :) Fizz asked me to ignore it first, and this log was removed after 2 weeks. Not bad per Fizz's speed.

If you are talking about iPhone, you can't activate your phone with the new sim card. I only means your iphone is locked, need call your old provider and unlock it first.

@VC, try to avoid iphone 5 if you can. I helped my senior neighbor change his iphone 5 battery twice. In the end he simply go with new iphone SE. Iphone 5 is still great phone but its batter run its course.

Change to the minim $8 plan is an option, other option is move to voip company such as Fongo, which charge you $25 for phone porting (correct me if they increased price), and you can let it stay as long as you wan. When you're back after 1 year, move back to Fizz again.

Please use canadapost.ca to double check address. If it's not ok, you can ship to your friend's address and you pickup there. The delivery company they used in Ottawa is called DCIM. I'm sure it's different one in Quebec, but they may not cover your area as Canadapost.

Full of bug for its usage display. My usage button is always gray though I have 2g gift data there.

I'd like to have this perk but my base data run out. There is a bug in Fizz. No matter how much gift data I get, data is simply not working if your base data run out. It's really frustrated. Someone said I can only use the base data because of bug in Fizz. I don't know if it's true because I can't see usage at all.

Only the iPhone 5 models numbers ending in FH19, FH1C, FH1D, FH1F, FH1G, FH1H have support for AWS, which Fizz and Wind mobile use. If your ip5 not in this list, go with other company.
