As a follow-up, most of you are probably already aware, Fizz now officially confirms 3G phase-out to start July 31st. It is in their FAQ now. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/why-volte-important#31 -

It's highly likely that they do. If Vidéotron is shutting down its 3G transmitters, where would Fizz get any 3G signals from? The only option would be to 3G-roam on somebody else's network, given tho…1
