I did contact them, got a generic reply and then it worked again a few hours later.

Thank you everyone.

According to Fizz's email that I got today: --------------------------------------------------- Why being VoLTE certified is important. With the 3G network set to disappear within the next year, your calls will only use the LTE network. Your phone and your SIM card will have to be compatible with VoLTE technology to make…

I had my cellphone number over 15 years, pretty sure it's been around the block by now even if don't often give it to others.
-
It's technically not really those numbers calling me since someone once called me saying that I call them (which was not true). These parasites of nature are obviously spoofing legit numbers knowing that we'll ignore calls from India.

@Martin Well I found the solution to my own problem, but I can't mark my own answer.

Never mind, found out what the issue was. I've used Mac filtering in my routers for the past 15 years and I made no exception for the one that Fizz provided me with. @hc0468 The only thing I replaced in my network is my old Dlink Router and Videotron modem for this Fizz modem-router combo, nothing else changed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Never mind, found out what the issue was. @André Well I game and stream video content on my computer which is wire directly on the Fizz modem-router. When it went down a couple of days ago same time), I also tried going on YouTube on my cell phone, not Internet until that minute passed.

I see, well thanks for the reply anyway. Been using GRC since 2003, test it every time I get a new router.

@Alejandra My phone was literally next to the router. Regardless of the option I use, I'm stuck at 54 Mpbs. Guess I'll try rebooting again. @Mike I hit "Best Answer" by accident, doesn't seem to be a way to revert my action. Anyway, ATF was already disabled.
-
@Mike Well it was enable since the initial booting, but I just rebooted it again and it did not change anything. EDIT: Found the issue, I had to disable "Band Steering". EDIT 2: The speed is the same, strange.

Thank you for the answers everyone.

Thanks for the reply Mike. Would you happen to know if the transition can be done without any Internet outage?
