There used to be an option but in the new updated fizz app they disabled that part of the test. These screenshots are the Hitron OEM app which has it but it fails when it checks I guess macid & it refers back to vendor… so the question is why did fizz disable that option
-
Thats not what i asked. Either way I see the original Hitron app has that test option but it seems Fizz disabled the option to test speed from ISP to Modem & then from Modem to device

yeah that would be sweet..... any clue if they might revive that? Black Friday? 😁

Good Idea, but has Israel reestablished phone/internet service for Gaza/Palestine?

Seems more like marketing to sell newer phones.. If my Samsung S9+ is VoLTE compliant I dont see how hard it could be to accept it on the network if they accept the newer models...
-
thx for the reponse. I'm aware of the dangers of Bit.ly hence the reason for my concern. I sandbox & vpn it on my pc & it seems legit from Fizz. I guess this might be in some preparation for VoLTE compatibility...

Doesnt make sense that FIzz needs to test each phone to make sure it works with VoLTE? ! If the manufacturer says its compliant eg Samsung, then why must they test each model phone? The VoLTE protocol should not change form model to model. I have a S9+ that works well & is VoLTE complaint according to Samsung. Fizz only…

Ive been curios about that too... I figure they must be data mining our usage... VPN FTW

NICE.... even though they hiked up their 120/20(45$) price by 5$... still better than 60/10 for 35$... especially if locked in with grandfather pricing...

yes.. I would like it now since I just signed up & was limited to 60/10 when I need the 20 Up for work related purposes....
