OK, it just activated, after the SIM being in the phone for about ten minutes, but now it's offline again It keeps going on and offline, mostly offline.The Rogers SIM activates immediately after restart, and is stable.

One thing I notice is my first account never received the "Quick! Confirm your email address" email. My second one did, and seems to have been activated with referral code immediately, whereas the first had some kind of time-based or manual activation.

As I clearly stated in my original question, the "invite friends" link wasn't present. This morning I received an email that my account was "activated" and the link now appears, including on the profile page (see screenshot), though the account seemed fully "activated" last night. This process wasn't explained in detail…
