Opening a new account and transferring the data is a really good idea! I checked with customer service, and i'd have to change my phone number though... Not that it's really THAT important. Thanks for the idea!

Thanks Jay. I have been hanging-on and hanging-on and hanging-on. Six days of hanging-on now! Hopefully it can be resolved today.

Mine is great! The router component of the modem isn't super strong, but it's very easy to switch to your old router and just use the box as a modem. Consistently fast speeds. Very impressed.
