updated my answer, I didn't realize the huge discrepancy, I thought it was 8m vs 5m, but 18min definitely a problem here. Iv'e also experienced that if someone leaves a voicemail it counts as minutes.
-
they round up to the minute, so if you make a call of 1m1s, they deduct 2min. but that doesn't explain the huge difference. contact them on Facebook fb.me/fizzca for your amazon SMS, it's a know issue, SMS coming from companies that use short codes to send their texts have issues, they are working on it see:…

I googled fastest LTE speeds and found this 4G LTE vs. cable. Verizon 4G LTE wireless broadband is 10 times faster than 3G—able to handle download speeds between 5 and 12 Mbps (Megabits per second) and upload speeds between 2 and 5 Mbps, with peak download speeds approaching 50 Mbps. Cable speeds vary, but 4 to 12 Mbps are…

what kind of a message does the caller hear when trying to reach you?
-
Have you seen this thread: https://community.fizz.ca/questions/1842620-dropped-calls-fizzext support told them to reboot their phone, like @M H. mentioned, let us know if this solves it for you.
-
Yeah @Emre, Thanks for sharing.
-
before requesting another one, check your transaction history
-
they allow you to add voicemail without voice, but it won't work unless you have voice minutes, Iv'e tried it and unless you have voice minutes your incoming/outgoing phone number will be disabled, anyone calling your number will hear "that phone number is not connected" you can modify your plan at any time, but will only…

totally agree new subscribers should get compensated, since they extended the beta, anyone who joined after the beta deadline should now become a beta users, close the public intro pricing, and make it invite only beta, until the end of the beta period in 2mo.

@Sergio, thanks, just tried Crystal on iOS, works within safari, but the speed test app, still gives me ads, I'll give 1Blocker a try.
-
@sergio, can you get an add blocker that work inside iOS apps? I have Ghostery, and UBlock origin on my desktop browser
-
If you choose to port your number, it will take a few hours to be active.
-
You need at least iPhone 5s or later, running iOS 12 https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices
-
Fizz network only supports iPhone 5S and later, running the latest iOS 12, I tried it on my iPhone SE, running iOS 11 talk/text works but not data. so you need both hardware and latest OS here are the supported devices: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices
-
Wow @Sergio, you must be standing beside the cell tower :) I'm getting about 20mbps down
-
Some websites say LTE should be between 5-12mbs, while others say 25-50mbps, getting about 20mbps down 1.6mbps up I’m happy with that, hope it lasts
-
what were the Beta prices vs the intro price?
-
Maybe this could help, I found it in the admin panel: plans> manage> advanced parameters . To resend the two notifications to your phone.
-
Got it, I miss understood, strange that it shows "no data left" for voice plan.
-
Are you talking about 500min talk time or 500mb or roaming data? I don't see an add-on for talk in the travel section, only data add-on, also pay-as-you-go says talk: N/A. I don't think you can make voice calls while in Europe, just use data and sms
-
I’m not sure if they’re all the same, but in my case, I have 90days to claim it, and once it’s activated 30days to consume it
-
I ordered mine in the evening and received it the following morning. I was home, they never rang the doorbell and I just happen to walk by my front door and saw something stuck to the window of my door. I was really surprised, wish they would have rang tho.

Make sure you reset browser cache and delete fizz.ca cookies, then try the password reset again. Otherwise you’ll have to contact them: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/complaints

If you select 0 talk time with your initial setup, you have a few options 1. Select calls add-on, only one available is $3 for 60min, I just added it to my plan and could confirm it’s 60min and for some reason expires in 60days. I’m not sure if this is a promo only or if this rate will continue 2. Use pay as you go, by…

[SOLVED] Thanks @Kent @René for the definative answer So there's no way to have a data plan, and just voicemail, without also having voice minutes. For my phone number to be valid, so a caller can leave a message, I added the $3 calls add-on, and immediatly was able to call my phone and leave a message. Note 1: even though…
-
@Kent, I figured I may have needed minutes to dial into voicemail from my cell phone. So if that was the case I wouldn’t have used a land line or voip service to retrieve messages... The problem is, when calling from another phone my cell number is invalid and won’t let me leave a message @mohammad I did try calling from…
