yes I’m interested.

For most people 30-40-50 GB is pretty much unlimited. Even Fizz and their data giveaways and roll over pretty much makes it like unlimited data. Companies will have to start differentiating themselves with better prices/perks/benefits to earn our dollars. Heck - free cellular and data service is going to be a thing in the…

Here is my referral code: X8DUR

It would be nice if they release an app but to be honest with you, as a "discount" provider I wouldn't keep my hopes up.
-
If there are any, they haven’t announced anything publicly. If Fizz is listening; it would be nice to have another option out there...
-
Videotron and sometimes contractors working on behalf of Videotron.
-
I’m guessing if they want to keep subscribers they won’t just jack up the price and if they ever maybe they’ll grandfather them... but this is a telecom company so anything goes (it’s in the fine print).
-
My internet is fine here in the West Island and it seems others are also reporting their Internet is working fine. I would contact Fizz through chat or Facebook as it seems very specific to you.
-
Network wise it’s the same as Videotron, which for me has always been reliable. Price wise there are better options in the form of resellers but Fizz recently lowered their prices to bring them more in line. Setup for me had a hiccup... the modem password was never accepted when I tried to setup the modem/router unit…

Fizz's website states you currently have to sign up for a new service at your new address and then cancel the old one at your previous address. They state a new process will be coming in July... but I'm not sure they'll have this in place by your July 1st move.…

I believe the points awarded are equal to the dollar amount of your bill monthly.

For beta pricing, some sites/social mentioned $40 while others $45. Might have been a price that wasn’t set in stone when first launched. Either way, I wouldn’t complain about it ;)
-
Are the $1-$2 internet rewards only valid for 2 years like the mobile ones? If so that would be a bummer...
-
They should have this but they don’t. Even a single $1-$2 combo discount would be good and not too much to ask on BYOD type prices.
-
Aside from the initial setup where it wouldn’t recognize the password given by Fizz, my modem/router units been working fine. My Remote desktop works well. But I’m still keeping my old router as a backup for now in case issues come up. I do find there’s a real lack of documentation for this Hitron modem. I’d say if you’re…

Looks like a typo in the article. Don't remember seeing it at $60 before....

Does Videotron show internet availability at your condo address? Fizz uses the same network as Videotron and in theory should be available everywhere Videotron is available but that's not always the case. A coworker of mine has Videotron at his house, but the Fizz address checker says its not available to him. Either its a…

The network quality is great. Their modem/router combo is huge and only offers basic router functions. If someone wants more control/advanced features, they’d need to use a seperate router.
-
This is a community forum where most posters are just Fizz customers. I would contact them directly via chat or Facebook if you wan to get this resolved ASAP.
-
Fairly easy but you may need to troubleshoot issues yourself or contact Fizz support through chat/facebook. For example, my technician showed up, tested the wire and left the modem for me to connect myself. When I followed the instructions and installed the modem, it would not recognize the Wifi key/password. I even did a…

To confirm what GOAT said, you can only manage QoS if you put the modem in bridge mode and use your own router.

New members will pay the reduced prices until the stabilization period ends. However, once out of the stabilization period, they will start paying the regular price. What will happen to my price after the stabilization period? For members who subscribe ON, OR AFTER, April 12, 2019. Your plan was activated on or after April…

Yes you can still subscribe, but you will need to have the technician install cable to your apartment. Go with the VIP installation, they will make sure everything is up and running smoothly.
-
Fizz uses the same network as Vidéotron. There is fibre to the node but not to the house. Fizz network peed and reliability is comparable to Vidéotron.
-
Fizz is positioning itself as a self serve/self help kind of provider. In this day and age, most people have a secondary access point for internet wether it be through mobile, work, public access, friends etc... If the customer doesn't have an immediate way to get on the internet, they should be prepared to find alternate…
-
According to Fizz, the line you want to transfer must be active with your old provider and must be done at the time of SIM activation.
-
The mobile side of Fizz is good but still experiencing issues from time to time. On the home internet front, it's good. However, the supplied modem could be better though.
-
You will be charged for the first month the day you signup. You can set an installation date for the future. The following payments will be taken on the date just before your installation. According to Fizz: Your first monthly payment will be charged to your credit card the day you subscribe. Your monthly payment cycle,…
