Instead of using terms like stablization period, Fizz should have gone for a simpler and more accessible marketing like sign up before X date to keep Y price.

I could use a bit. Related question, does gifted data roll over? If my cycle ends in few days and I've been gifted say 250mb and have used 200 of those, will my next cycle have an additional 50mb?

You can adjust your plan in any fashion you want until next Wednesday (16th). You'll lose the stabilization price discount only if you make any modification after the 16th.

In my case if took less than half an hour. You follow the instructions to port your number over to Fizz when you activate it, then take out your old Sim and put in the new one and you're supposed to get a welcome text from Fizz soon after that.

So, those who didn't have a voicemail included because you were waiting for the free upgrade, it's probably a good idea to just get it now (before the 16th). If you add the voicemail option to your plan after the 16th, it'll be considered as changing your plan and thus the reduced prices won't apply to you anymore.
