Thanks everyone for their help. So after two days of no sms or mms this morning I tried this and I dunkonifnits what I did or whatever issue was fixed on the network side ? But for anyone with a similar issue after rebooting your phone delete the text message conversation where you had the stuck sms/mms and then try again.…

Yeah airplane mode did nothing rebooting did nothing. Using native sms app. I should also add that I’m in Ottawa. Data works but when I rebooted I did get a brief message telling me it failed to connect but that quickly went away. I am in Ottawa I should mention.

OK we are on to something My carrier still says videotron even though my network says fizz. How do I update my carrier ?

I'm already running the newest ios so I tried getting fizz to resend me the network settings package via My plans > Manage plan > Advance parameters > Fizz network parameters > resend me the notifications but I never got any text messages from fizz over the last 40 mins since I've tried.…
