Unfortunately, if you change your plan now, you will lose your pricing plan forever. As others have said, you can get the add-ons for US travel. Another option is you purchase a local SIM for your phone or look at other services like Roam Mobility or KnowRoaming. If you have an eSIM in your phone, check out airalo which…

Check out the coverage map here: https://fizz.ca/en/coverage. Entering your postal code shows that there is LTE coverage in that area. For Internet, follow the steps: https://fizz.ca/en/internet?DATA_CAPACITY=10250&DOWNLOAD_SPEED=5010&PLAN=1000 and it will ask for your home address and confirm whether or not you can get…

Sounds like an issue only Fizz can resolve. Contact support to see if they can help you.

From: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activation-how-do-i-transfer-my-current-phone-number-to-fizz Important to know * Only mobile numbers coming from the province of Quebec or the Ottawa region can be transferred. * Only numbers from the Fizz subscription area can be transferred to Fizz. If your number starts with an area code…

Since this is a prepaid service, you pay for the month so there isn't a way to pay for a partial month like it is done for postpaid. Try contacting support to see if they have an option to do that.

It depends on the location in the States. In Chicago, I was connected to AT&T (LTE). In New Hampshire, it bounced between AT&T (LTE) and Northeast Wireless (mostly LTE, some HSPA). In Vermont, I was connected to T-Mobile (LTE).

Is the goal to have two different credit cards to pay for the different plans? If no, you can add a user to a plan. From My plans -> Manage plan -> Add user and you can put the e-mail address of another fizz account. You will have your own rewards and upgrades that can be applied.
-
It's been working for several months. Fizz is listed as a carrier participating in the short code program: http://www.txt.ca/en/carriers-and-aggregators/
-
You don't have to remove it. If you try to activate the 500mb upgrade, it will give you the option to replace one of your used slots. It won't be active until your beginning of your next cycle.

The issues with 2FA have been resolved for several months now. It should technically work. I created an account on OC Transpo's website, but it hasn't sent me the activation e-mail yet so I can't test it for you directly from their alerts page. However, I was able to send to the short code (560560) and got replies. See the…

If you did not get new data, it means that something in the back end didn't work and it is possible that you calls and texts could be affected too. I've had this happen to me on some of the months. You will need to contact support to get this rectified.
-
Did your plan just renew? If it did, check that the payment went through properly. If it has, contact support as there may be an issue with your account.
-
There is a issue with the display of the prices on your account. It seems to be a widespread issue and should not affect your pricing. I have 3 accounts and all have the "wrong" prices showing. I confirmed with support that it is only a display issue and one of my accounts just renewed at the original price. You can…

@Takion, both sides of the referral gets $35 after the second bill is paid.
-
This has happened to me in the past where my plan is renewed, but no new data is allocated to my account. Contact customer support for them to fix it as you may not be able to access your calling or texting as well.
-
I have 3 accounts and all of them are showing the higher prices at the moment. I contacted support and they confirmed it was only a display issue. One of my accounts renewed yesterday and I was charged my proper price, not the displayed price.

You may have a bad sim card. If you can, check with another phone and if you are getting the same message, you will need to contact support for help to get a replacement. Or you can just buy another one.
-
If the activation code is not working for you (double check the number), contact support and they will check both the activation number and the SIM card number and they will be able to reset it so that you can use the activation code. They will escalate it to their specialized team so it will be fixed within 24 hours.

Sorry, there isn't an address for you to send email to text.

When you purchase a data add-on, it is valid for the current cycle and the following cycle or until you use all of the data. Given your scenario, one add on of 500MB would be good for the duration of your trip. If you use all of the data before you return, you can purchase another 500MB.
-
You have up to 90 days to apply the perk. Once you apply it, it will expire after 30 days. So if you apply it 5 days before the 90 day expiry, you still have 30 days of 500MB (past your 5 day scenario).
-
MB, did you try turning off your WiFi temporarily? Check your APN settings carefully, a small typo will make it fail
-
You received a MMS message which needs to be downloaded over data. Do you have a data plan or a data upgrade applied to your account? Your APN settings for MMS needs to be configured as well. Fizz APN settings are: APN: mobile.bm MMSC: http://mms.mobile.bm MMS proxy: mmsproxy.mobile.bm MMS port: 80 APN type:…

You will need to get a new sim and go to My plans -> Manage plan -> Change SIM card -> Activate your SIM card and follow the steps to transfer your number. You can keep your older SIM card and reuse it (as long as you have the Activation code). Don't unsubscribe and wait until your plan ends since you run the risk of…

As long as you dont' have any money in your wallet, I don't see any downside to having roaming turned on permenantly. If you have the right coverage, you will automatically be connected to the network as you travel. If you don't have coverage, you just won't get service. It's a prepaid service so you won't get extra…
-
Roaming needs to be turned on for Fizz data to work outside of Quebec (and Ottawa).
-
My son's plan has no data and has been able to use data perks and data upgrades consistently. He has been able to switch out the initial 250mb upgrade to a 500 mb upgrade with no issues. The only thing that it does not give you is the ability to receive data gifts.
-
On the metro, I am seeing the switch to HSPA+ at Villa-Maria going in either direction 90% of the time during rush hour. On rare occasions, it will stay on LTE.
-
You must have data as part of your plan to receive gifted data. No other way around it, perks and upgrades do not count.
