Yes, that is unfortunately what I found as well, but was hoping there was another option. You should be able to switch off data, as $0.15/MB means your $10 credit can be used up in 30 seconds, which is outrageous. I do have money in my wallet, as Fizz said in an email that I can text from here at 15cents per text. Wasn’t expecting the phone call. I guess at worst it will use up my wallet funds if I answer.

Yes Fizzy, Unfortunately the ‘Make Best Answer” button is not appearing with either Safari or Firefox on iPadOS, so I cannot click the button. Thanks to all for your answers.

Great - thanks for your insights, I have my answer. This board doesn’t want to post my earlier comments, being ‘under review’ presumably because I mentioned my current tablet plan with another carrier.

But Fizz does not seem to offer data only plans. From what I can see, they seem to want $9/month for a no features plan (i.e. nothing but SIM), so it would appear i’m better off sticking with my Fido data SIM that includes 3GB for $7.50/month ?
