Not to worry, the Hitron Modem/wifi router can be configured for just Bridge mode. I also disabled all routing capabilities, as well as wifi antennas. So, right now the Hitron unit is just acting as a cable modem and that is it. All other services have been disabled. And the Asus AC router is what's doing all the work.
