Please no ... don't want 2FA for this site. I would be more concerned about how easy it is to have your phone number ported out to another provider, which defeats the perceived security of 2FA for your other sites such as banking etc.

Fizz pour moi.
-
Fizz ... I have had no regrets so far.
-
Fizz does not sell phones, so it was likely a fraud. If you want to cancel Fizz, then contact them directly. We are a users group here.
-
Yup, contact Fizz.
-
My greatest fear ...

SMS means "short" message service. A message that has to be broken down 197 times is not short, so I could see where the message is identified as 1 for the aggregate. Interesting ... however not my use case. Contact Fizz for info on what is expected to happen,

Hope we get to keep our pre-mid-October pricing for a little while longer.

You can have a little side business ordering a few cards at a time and offering the cards for a small surcharge in your local area. Maybe Fizz might lower the cost for a SIM card bundle, due to lower shipping costs. Just some thoughts, but as Mike mentioned, that might not fit their business model. What would you resolve a…

I took me a couple of months.

I am also close to level 5. Not much point going much beyond that unless you make it a vocation.
-
Fizz's plan is to be a highly focused low cost BYOD service provider. I do not believe they would want to enter the consumer hardware market for phones. I agree with most of the previous poster's reply.
-
C'est pas normale. Contacte Fizz.
-
Great idea!
-
Agree, I would first try restarting your phone. Then contact Fizz for further ideas/troubleshooting.

You receive a configurable SIM/micro/nano physical part. No e-SIM support.

It is quite possible that if you used tethering or a hot spot, that your other device performed an application or system update during that time. This can happen if you allow that device to do updates when on Wi-Fi. Of course, when tethered, that device will consider itself on Wi-Fi and perform, for instance, an OS update,…

The 3 calls were from different numbers ... Nova Scotia, Ontario, and British Columbia. I believe blocking numbers for these kind of calls s a shell game.

No gift wrapping for me in Ottawa :-(

Most people are on a fixed duration plan, and changing would not be easy for them. They get incentives to remain on the plan with a replacement phone and other. Those that already have chosen a pay as you go plan have already researched what is best for them. It is the latter that you may be able to convince to try out…

I have had great support via Facebook Messenger ... and keep using that mode of communications successfully.
-
C'est une regle particuliere a Fizz, pour garder les prix competitifs.
-
Besides,a side benefit would be not to have to separately login again when switching from one language forum to the other.
-
Yes, agree with you. Also if you log into your account and then go to the forum, you need to login again.
-
Yes, I agree with you. Wonder why it is presented that way.
-
This option is not offered on Fizz. You can however see the history on your phone's call history screen.
-
Nope. All good here.
-
Thanks, but I am good. Thanks for offering;
-
One note though, it does need to be in a region serviced by Videotron/Fizz. Most of Quebec and Ottawa numbers should be OK.

I will second the voip.ms service. I use Linphone as the softphone. I also have Fongo, but then again I like playing with technology.
