I don't think you can. I can confirm that it often takes a long time for Fizz to "detect" a new IMEI number (and thus phone), especially when you use "weird" hardware, in my case …1 -

Fizz don't actually have to "bring it up". Fizz is using Vidéotron and Freedom Mobile towers. Both of which already support 5G. All they have to do is decide to "let us use it" :s…2 -
