Thanks Samysnes for sharing the info.

Yes, Fizz is using cable internet from Videotron network. It's quite stable.
-
as long as the phone is unlocked, there won't be a problem at all.
-
Unfortunately Fizz doesn't have this feature. As an alternative , you could download and App called TextNow for free SMS and have this feature as well.
-
as long as the service is not interrupted, you should be able to connect using your existing modem. When I moved, the old tenant is using Videotron. I plug in my modem and it connects. I believe Fizz/Videotron is using the MAC address of the modem to identify the user account and will know if the account is active or not.…

Obviously this iPhone is locked. Take back to the Apple Store and show them as proof that the phone they gave you is locked.
-
advertise for Samsung maybe :D

This error/problem is quite common at Fizz. Myself has encountered this problem as well. The only way to get it resolved is via support. I hope you already got your problem resolved.
-
You can also open a support ticket inside your account Profile menu, there is a link for contact form and there you can submit a complaint for your problem. Support will get back to you.
-
Contact support via chat. They will resolve your maximum limit. I had same issue and was resolved during a chat session with Fizz support.
-
also consider how many devices you will be connected. The more you have the greater bandwidth you need to have the best experience. Nowaday, 30Mbps is like a minimum if you want to use for Youtube, Netflix....
-
follow the step as Mike indicated and make sure it's updated 48hrs before your next billing date
-
probably the construction impact the stability of the network. Not sure if Fizz can do anything about this.
-
normally after 24hrs it show be activated and you should get a confirmation from text message. If not I suggest to chat with support or open a support ticket.
-
I hope this is a temporary outage for you. Unfortunately Fizz doesn't have a hotline for emergency service. It's an online service only. With the COVID situation where most of the population work from home and whenever the internet is out we have no more life. I feel your frustration. Let's hope Fizz/Videotron can keep the…
-
to cancel your current Videotron service, you really need to contact Videotron customer service. Fizz doesn't handle the cancellation for you. If you can have Fizz activation date before your Videotron billing cycle date will be best timing. In my case, I kept my current ISP service for one extra month so just in case Fizz…

I don't think you can use your own modem for Fizz internet service. However, you can setup the Fizz modem as bridge mode pass thru and then use your own router behind as planned. Overall, Fizz internet service is quite stable. I'm getting exactly the speed I paid for. If you have decided to sign up with Fizz and don't have…

If it's less than 24hrs, I will wait. Sometimes it takes up to 24hrs before you receive a text confirmation. If it's already more than a day then I suggest to contact support. You can find here how to contact Fizz's support: https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us
-
Yes, Fizz is available in the province of Quebec
-
That's not normal. Usually takes up to 24hrs. You should contact Fizz support using the chat box or submit a support ticket from your account
-
I believe most of Fizz users are mainly because of the good price and the data rollover feature
-
Before the COVID situation, usually is 1~2days. I have order 4 sim so far and got it on the next business day. I guess now probably a bit of delay due to COVID.
-
Yes, it's a monthly discount. 1$ off is like having voicemail for free.
-
Basically, any router can be used with the Fizz modem. You just need to setup as Bridge mode. All the setup instructions come along with the modem.
-
It looks like Fizz is experiencing some issue with the voicemail now. Some other users are having the same issue and it resolved itself after receiving new voicemail. Try call yourself and leave a message to see if it fix the problem.
-
As Mike said. You need to contact support. This is only a community forums
-
Yes, the Blackerry Motion is fully compatible with Fizz. See yourself from the link below under Videotron Network. Fizz is using Videotron infrastructure. https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/CA/blackberry-motion

with the amount of devices you have better invest in a good router to handle the load. Maybe Fizz's modem still able to work with but I believe the response time is not instant. I myself is like you have one Google home in each room and many smart bulbs. I switch to use the Mesh Wifi Router like Google Nest or others. I…
-
Absolutely you can. You can disable the router function of the Fizz modem and use it as a pass thru modem only. Just plug the output cable from the modem to the input of your current Orbi router and you are all set. The modem will come with all the instructions you need to setup with different configuration.
