If your data is off i don't understand how you can send message? If your are using WiFi data don't matter but if you use data u know to deactivate your plane mode no?

Are you on PC or on your cellphone while trying that? Pc is always better cause mobile can have instability.

Contact the chat and tell them that you tried 2,3 time and it did not work. So you assume that u would be able to do it with the chat customer service. They will make "an exception" as a gift of welcome ;)

When u compose a phone number keep pressing 1. Than they will ask you a password it should be 8208. Then you be able to modify everything!
