Will Fizz ever start selling phones or will it always be BYOD?

Title is self-explanatory

  • I think it's easier to manage from a system point of view. Beside it's better to buy your phone from a store with your credit card, get points and other features
  • You can't really do this on a no contract/prepaid system, in order to subsidized the phones the carriers need to spread the payments over a long term and since with Fizz you can leave at any time they have no way to be able to offer devices at a reduced cost. None of the other prepaid competition offer phones that I have seen and doubt Fizz will bother, they should just focus on their network stability and getting things where they need to be to compete in the market.
